Presenter: Lauren Godwin
Having a clear understanding of your nonprofit brand identity is imperative to inform communication and marketing outreach. Your brand is more than a logo. It is the heart of your organization and is an expression of why it exists. Sharing your unique “why” helps build meaningful connections that are needed to achieve the goals of your nonprofit. This workshop will explore the importance of understanding your brand to create effective communications—the voice of your organization. Applying strategic marketing approaches that are in alignment with your mission and uniquely tailored to your brand will amplify your message. Participants will understand that while branding, marketing and communications cannot be afterthoughts, they do not have to be complicated, expensive or overwhelming.
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Understand the importance of brand identity.
Recognize opportunities for brand development and clarity.
Identify target audiences and effectively communicate with them.
Develop marketing goals that are in alignment with organizational goals.
Use analytics to measure and improve marketing activities.
