Resource Development Training Sessions for Boards

In this training session, The INS Group ensures that each nonprofit board has a common vision, understands the structure and decision-making process of boards and understands board liability and accountability. Training includes:

    • Fundraising 101"
    • A Board Member’s Role in Fundraising
    • Practical Steps for Fundraising
The INS Group facilitates this training as a one full day or one-half day session.

    Grant Writing and Research

The INS Group does not take a “cookie cutter” approach to grant writing. Each grant application for our clients is tailored appropriately. The INS Group:

    • Develops a core proposal – summary statement, introduction, statement of problem or need, goals and objectives, methodology, evaluation, budget and future funding
    • Writes ongoing proposal submissions
    • Critiques and edits proposals written by staff
    • Determines the appropriate requests and best strategies for approaching private and corporate foundations
In order to be prepared to write a successful grant proposal, we provide comprehensive grant research by:
    • Identifying corporate and private foundations that match between the nonprofit's programs and the grantor's funding priorities
    • Providing names of the sources, contact information, required format/procedure, application, proposal, suggested request amount, due date
    • Creating a work plan and timetable for submission of grant proposals
